Quality of Vintage

Have you noticed the striking difference in clothing quality between today’s fashion and that of 25 or more years ago? It’s really quite remarkable. Even something as simple as a day dress—what used to be made of 100% cotton is now often replaced with cheap polyester blends. And to get the quality we once took for granted, you have to spend a small fortune—and even then, good craftsmanship isn’t guaranteed.

As a vintage lover, I’ve learned it can be tough to find pieces that suit my body shape, since people were generally smaller back then. But when I find something that almost works, I don’t hesitate to take it to my tailor. In the end, I end up with a one-of-a-kind, heirloom-quality piece that no one else has. And honestly, it’s worth every bit of the time and money!
